No, you are not entitled to compensation. Specific aircraft type is not guaranteed. Seat assignments are not guaranteed.

It's not change of flight that puts you 15th on the list for upgrade - it's fare class and Medallion status. Time of purchase (or reticketing) is used to rank after fare Y, then status by fare.
