Was booked in exit row seats for my route and was 1st on the upgrade list with 4 seats open. Now, the flight is cancelled, booked on a "better" route since it is now a 1-stop vs a 2 stop, but still I lost my seats and my place on the list. Now I am stuck with regular economy seats with no chance at an upgrade since it says 15 on the waitlist and to speak with an agent.
What can I do? I would rather even spend some miles to get upgraded but i cant since these are T class tickets.
I guess I am not entitled to any compensation since I did not miss a flight and they made it "better" by making it a 1 stop trip?
