1) I am sorry to hear that this happened, and hope you're on the path to resolution.
2) I think this is a stand-up response by Ms. Van Sciver, and wonder if it represents a patent path from a Hyatt rep on this board to her screen. If so, bravo for that, too. (I have seen both GP and "Hyatt Corporate" signed on here.)
3) Watchers, remember what peteropny said. I've had honest disputes over charges, and am repeatedly amazed at how the cc company takes my side. I sometimes don't have what I think is really enough evidence. Wouldn't be for me if I were in their (cc co's) shoes. It feels like it's all in a day's work for them. They suspend the charge until they report back that the hotel - not Hyatts - acknowledges the mistake to them. With apologies from both. When does that ever happen when dealing with big companies in this day and age? (OK, always with Hyatts Private Line Reps as to GP points and reservations that they have made...)
