I didn't have to listen to teenagers arguing about whose turn it was to go on a break, and I could get a drink when I wanted. What's more there was no delay getting into the lounge and my flight was parked at the gate right next door. That's 4 positives that even the CCR can't deliver!

Last nights crew were old surly and lazy bar one.
Crews can be good or bad - we have the same complaint on BA all the time. I had a good crew, you had a bad one (although admittedly yours seems more typical of the TATL routes).

No curtain between F and J was a strange one.....I thought they had just forgotten to pull it over but when I looked there wasn't one.
Not sure what sort of plane this was - am assuming a 777 as the divide between J and F on the 747 was so far back it was moot. Also they have to use some kind of see through curtain now, that's the rules for US carriers.

Three quarters of the F overhead lockers were used for storing bags from the rear.
Were you able to get your bag relatively close to your seat? Being envious of the fact someone else's bags get to travel in F is a new one on me

The F toilet broke half way through the flight yet the crew made no effort to tell us
Or they could have done a PA, and you'd have reported back with a complaint that you were disturbed from your meal/IFE/sleep/whatever with some useless information about the toilet being broken.

I don't want to sound like an apologist for UA, but as the recipient of many, many upgrades from them in years gone by, they've bought a shed load of good will from me and I understand and accept that no one is paying the going rate to sit up front (yet they can still serve up a far better steak than BA).
