You can also talk with your veterinarian about Cerenia. It controls vomiting and lasts for 24 hours.
We try to avoid giving him any meds unless necessary.
He's afraid of thunderstorms, but the most we've been able to do is give him Benadryl, even though the vet said she's willing to give him valium. We don't like the possible risks involved with it.
