An extra nonstop HKG-LAX on a CX passenger plane would not be affected by cargo at all simply because the spare payload capacity would be negligible. The only determining factor for this route would be passenger demand.
If there was a sudden spike in LAX cargo demand, CX would run a dedicated freighter via ANC.
