I have had three stays since june all vacation weekends and I can tell you that it is not the same service as it was last year.
the good: the bell staff seems to be the same as before but this might be becasue it is the same employees, the bell staff here always rocks. the pool bar/restrant staff is also top notch.
the bad: the two restrants (26 and adobe) just dont seem to have the level of service they used to. the fornt desk is not as effeciently run and i no longer get the welcome back even thought i have been 10 times in the last 18 months.
all in all although it is not what it was just last year, the facility is great, the pools are wonderful, and we jsut love the views walking around. we have also now discovered other resterants in the area since we are now not as eager to eat on property.
Did they tie the yellow ribbon on your door handle as in past ? I just they have banked the money from the formal restaurant which was burnt down from the first.
The they took a wonderful dark bar with great bartenders and turned it into a sushi bar.
The remaining two options are ok for breakfast and lunch but no where near for dinner.
We also have found that going to Jenson's and bringing food back works or the great locals near by.
It's a same as we use to go there four times a year.
Since the formal dining room fire apparently they have not rebuildt.
