Did you recently check your statements?

My brother just flew to HKG and he got a 25% bonus on Club and Asiamiles for his flight in May. (in addition to the double miles offer)

I don't recall the elite bonus was still on. OR is this some sort of a new loyalty bonus just like the ones they had during the pilot industrial actions to counter for SARS?

Is this new? Or has this been mentioned in Flyertalk before? By the way, he's silver. Perhaps Gold / Diamond get a higher bonus...
