Not to worry - SQ is arguably in as bad shape as CX. SQ's problem is that it has made substantial financial commitments based on a projected cashflow that simply doesn't exist right now. As with any company (e.g., United), tying your future to the apex of revenue or cashflow is a recipe for disaster.
For those of you who are in disbelief over CX/KA/SQ's condition, consider this: US airlines only had to deal with about 2-3 weeks of serious disruptions to passenger loads after 9/11, generally speaking. CX/KA/SQ, OTOH, have been contending with massive load/yield fluctuations for well over a month, with no end in sight.
