Actually that changes the scenario a bit. As a Plat, the hotel is obligated to meet the bed requirements (i.e. King/Queen/Doubles/etc) of the reservation. If they don't or can't, then the Plat Ultimate Guarantee comes into play and that is $100 cash in hand for stays at a FS Marriott.
