Combine different PNR/segment of same flight number
I am thinking of using two different bookings on the same flight:

TG629 ICN-HKG (on extension of my existing BD redemption of SFO-ICN)
TG629 HKG-BKK (on KF miles)

Given that they are two different PNRs of the same flight number:

- Can TG provide both boarding pass at checkin at ICN?
- Can TG check bag all the way through to BKK from ICN?

Surely it is the same plane there would be minimal risk of missing connections?

Is there much risk to this?
