How do you know the OP doesn't need a car? Just because they're staying by the airport doesn't mean they don't need to go out to the suburbs somewhere. That's about the only thing the airport is particuarly convenient to, anyway.

Also, "hours" is unlikely to be an accurate assessment of how long it takes to get downtown, even during rush hour, depending on where you're starting.
