February 1993 - on our honeymoon trip to Santa Fe.

I had won the trip at a Harrods event - and BA were kind enough to upgrade us to Club (both ways!) as it was a honeymoon......

We were allowed in the lounge at reasonably new Gatwick North as part of the upgrade - and I made the most of it although my new hubby was so dischuffed at the food offering that he took himself off to MacDonald's for breakfast!

I do remember that Club was the old style cradle seats - and the food (and drink) was fantastic - far better than that offerd in First which I flew for the first time this year!
