First time was in 1994 at EDI - the BA lounge was a pokey little room above what is now Gate 1 - but which in those days was a separate BA departure building with its own security and lounges. Still I was so proud of getting Silver that I had the tags on my brief case and always ejoyed a beer and a packet of twiglets.....
