Simon, I could not agree with you more. Why have us call everyday over and over again and rack up telco costs and use employee time when we could just request to be wait listed. Heck they could even make it a web service.
I did an exhaustive search using my new AsiaMiles account (Thanks to everyone here) And every date that I would like is available on the CX site inluding more than one flight so I assume AA should see the same....called AA and they said NO!
So I will try again based on what you all have recently indicated here...I am only looking for 2 legs of a three week OW trip to Asia to be changed.
Does the inventory that AA can see free up closer to depature date?
Anyone know if I can transfer miles to Marco Polo or Aisa Miles and then use them from that account to secure a seat, since they seem to have priority over AA miles?
