Tourist attractions most unfairly maligned by jaded world travellers

OK, I came up with this topic as a joke in the "most over-rated tourist attraction" thread, but someone said I should start a REAL thread about it. So I will!

I was responding to the idea that almost every "world traveller" would say Fisherman's Wharf is a tourist rip-off, and would never admit to even THINKING of visiting there.

The reality, of course, as I've stated, is that spending an afternoon at Fisherman's Wharf can be a more than enjoyable experience -- even if almost no one at Flyertalk will admit it.

This reminds of the supposed Yogi Berra quote that "nobody goes there anymore because it's too crowded." OK, so what are other famous destinations that Flyertalkers either won't go to or won't admit they go to, but are actually enjoyable destinations?

And if this thread doesn't exhaust the "destination thread" possibilities, nothing will!
