Zone 0 (assuming that is the UK) to Zone 6 (or vv) for instance. That is priced at 50K one way in J. In my mind they will not charge more if you fly with a stop as long as it is a direct-ish route. There is no indication thereof.

So LHR-LAX-JFK will probably not count as 1 sector but LHR-JFK-LAX will.

The price of travel between zones you can find on BA.com.
