I had a room here last week on the sixth floor that had an unusual layout (bathroom in the far back of the room, away from the door - no real problem). The "slope" in the ceiling was in the bathroom, directly over the "wall" side of the tub/shower; it was kind of odd to have to be careful not to bump one's head on the slope (but the water pressure was excellent, so it made up for it).
The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is very good - near La Monnaie/Die Munt, and the Centrale station (with train access from and to the airport) is a manageable 6-7 block walk (note that it's a slight uphill the last 2 or so blocks when going towards the station; also, the sidewalks are cobbled).
