I am in Guangzhou(CAN) for the remainder of the year & need 3600 status miles, looked into Air China flights & realise a lot their fare classes earn only 50% miles or nil, and it not as easy to route through cities as in North America.
Another option is to take a 3 hours bus ride to Hong Kong and fly to the other part of Asia with other airlines.
