Slightly OT, but i totally enjoyed taking the Coast Starlight from SEA-PDX instead of taking a Cascades train. I was coming back from a Mariners game with a friend, and we opted for a Roomette as it came with lunch.

The room attendant thought it was a little strange, but the $$ differential was not great -- especially when you threw in a meal for two.
