Thanks BradJ and TMOliver - That is kind of what I thought. I have this booked for February but will check it out on our October trip. We always stay at the NW Staybridge Suites which we really like but it was hard to pass up the price of Orangewood if the place is better than expected. I can always cancel and then book with Staybridge.

On our most current trip to Austin, we went over to Orangewood and asked to see a room - NOT ANY PLACE WE EVER WANT TO STAY! The room was very tired looking and the concrete steps leading to the unit were extremely decayed. The DoubleTree next door looked quite nice, but the area was not as nice as staying in the Research Blvd. area. Hyatt Place and Staybridge will remain our goto places.
