Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked king club lagoon view room, upgraded to Deluxe Ocean View Suite with Club Access.

How are the rooms?
The room was amazing, very large and obviously recently refurbished there was a living area with a sofa, armchair, work desk and chair, breakfast bar with stools, a sink, coffee machine and mini bar. There was also a restroom in this area. Then there was the bedroom area with a large bed and a nice window seat so you could admire the amazing views over the ocean. Both rooms had large flat screen TV’s and there was a clock/radio with IPod dock on the bed side table.
The main bathroom had a shower and no bath but that did not bother us at all.
Free mini bar was restricted to drinks only, fruit plate in the room replaced every few days

How is the exec. lounge?
this was on the 6th Floor of the small building and it has a balcony with a great view of the ocean. In the evening there was a selection of drinks and “snacks” available. Compared with other Intercontinental club lounges I must admit I did find the selection a bit limited with just beer, wine and soft drinks there were no spirits or sparkling wine, the snacks were nice but not enough to replace a meal. The club concierge did a great job of keeping your glasses full and making sure everything was ok.

What was your welcome gift?
On arrival a bottle of sparkling wine, then every 2 nights we got a bottle of local spirit or red whine along with chocolate dipped fruit or a cheese plate.
