I'm intrigued though - how does a full English breakfast come as part of a
seven course tasting menu ? I generally do a full English breakfast plus a side order of grease on the morning of an all-day drinking session !
It was a very strange thing to see near the middle of a tasting menu and i did raise my eyebrow thinking it would be a little inappropriate, but it was delicious. (far far better than the Bacon and Egg ice cream served up by the Fat Duck, which is absolutely disgusting).

I found a picture on the internet that will show you better than i can explain, but its very small pieces of what traditionally makes up an English Breakfast (and croutons), albiet a posh one.

Apart from the Ledbury, which i rate as London's best restaurant and absolutely superb, this would, at the moment, be second. It's also nice sometimes to eat this quality of food in a relaxed environment, especially if you are with someone who isn't used to stuffy, serious restaurant dining rooms.
