It also says that "All travel must originate in and return to the US.". However online it allows me to book oneway from USA to India but not from INDIA to USA. I don't have enough point to book roundtrip for 3 people i am trying to book. But i would rather book oneway first than to waste the voucher or use it for economy. Do you think on phone they would allow from oneway from INDIA to USA? I will call and post results but want to be ready with all options when i call.
Hhhmm, certainly the UK AmEx vouchers can be used over the telephone, although they too must initiate in the home country (ie UK instead of the USA). However, I think that the main issue will be paying for a single (rather than round trip) with cash - have you checked the prices?!!! A roundtrip in CW from JFK to Bangalore for random dates is $5,411.43 whereas the single is $5,309. You may wish to consider this before you use the voucher one-way!
