Trivial? You're wrong. That would be a mammoth undertaking.
I beg to differ.
Crossreferencing the ticket number to the fare to the saved AP number is easy. The data is all there and I know from personal experience (used to work for Canadian) the data is saved.
Load it into a relational database engine (take your pick) with appropriate referential integrity and the job is done.
With one click of a mouse button against my AP number, AC could tell how many segments I took using what fares and what my average yield was.
But then we're back to the discussion of what exactly AP is.... a loyalty program or a shopper's (read Zellers points) program...
