Hello all - me again - here is the problem:

I live and SEA and am flying one way to BKK. Here are my choices:

1) CX Vancouver-Hong Kong-Bangkok $1400US + 25000 AA miles for Biz. Class. Plus $120 flight SEA-Vancouver (also means long layover in Vancouver)

2) Eva Seattle-Taipei-Bangkok $1400US Super Business Class. No miles used.

So I've gathered that CX is much better than Eva in Biz. but I am wondering if it is worth $120 plus 25000 miles and the hassle of traveling to Vancouver? Additionally I'd get bouns miles on CO for buying biz class on Eva, whereas I'd only get coach miles on my AA account.

I'm about to change jobs to one that involves very little travel so I wont be racking up the miles anymore (makes the Eva option more attractive) - then again I can find very little information about Eva's product.
