I have signed up to recieve email notifications when those coupon books are published. The TourSavers one looks very helpful. After reading it, you are spot on about staying in talkeetna, first.

I see the coupons are for MajorMarine. Are they on par with the Kenai Fjords tour? That stop at fox island looks cool. We might try to do deep-sea fishing and/or exit glacier hike also while in Seward.

Someone mentioned taking to train to Whitter on the way back to anchorage from Seward. I cannot find that on the alaska rail page, does it exist? That would be cool.

Fly into anchorage

Day 2 (Saturday)
Drive to alyeksa
alyeska tram / river raft or jet boat
leave rental car in girdwood

day 3 (Sunday)
train to seward
Exit glacier or fishing

day 4 (monday)
glacier/wildlife cruise

day 5 (tuesday)
Not sure here yet maybe train to whittier?

Day 6 (Wednesday)
Room for something here as well, rental still in Girdwood as of now...
(would like to drive to cooper landing, loved the drive in the dead of winter, would like to see it in summer)
get to anchorage by end of night

day 7 (thursday)
drive to talkeetna
flightseeing
overnight in talkeetna

day8 (friday)
drive to park ent.
bus to wonder lake
overnight in denali

day 9 (saturday)
short hiking or guided denali park tour
get to anchorage by dinner time for early am flight out next day.

Things can get bumped up or down a day or so, just trying to get a rough idea so I can start booking things when they become available.
