They said I could keep the email "forever" as a gesture of good faith
I just terminated my SBC/ATT DSL service this month.
I received an email and a postcard thanking me for my prior business and I was told that as a show of good faith they will allow me to keep my email (and subaccounts) FOREVER!
I was surprised and had already started to migrate away, which is fine, but at least the "legacy" emails (occasional folks) will get through.
Of course, they fouled up the billing and i wont be getting a credit for my cancellation for another month, but that is typical "phone company" SOP.
