The focus on the safety records of various airlines and whether or not Colgan measures up distracts us from what is really at stake. Do we really want to turn a blind eye to the egregious lack of human decency that Colgan exhibits towards its employees? There are dire structural problems in a company that squeezes their employees so tightly that they are barely making ends meet and have to resort to sleeping (not just taking a nap) in chairs in the lounge and then flying on so little sleep and so much stress (from the overall situation that Colgan creates).
