I agree with others that the time of day probably does not matter.

I do have one suggestion for you though: give the hotel the courtesy of letting them know if you plan to arrive earlier than their guaranteed check in time. Put a note in your reservation to say that you would like to arrive early. While you are adding comments also say that you would please like any available upgrades due to your HH status.
