There is an increased gross weight version of the A380 for which BA is the launch customer so doubt that they will take any deliveries early. I do think though that they will end up with more than the current 12 on order - I would have thought that in the end about 50% of the current 747's will be A380's and if IAG and the link up works then this might go higher. I would be surprised if they end up with 50 of them (ie like for like 747 replacement).
