I am sorry I might not have made myself clear in my previous post. I shall have 37210 miles by October 14. With early E, if I choose

50% Top Tier Bonus
2,000 Bonus Air Canada Status Miles
10 eUpgrade Credits
1,000 Bonus Air Canada Status Miles

I would have a total of 40210. I read somewhere there is a claw back with choosing status miles with early E. How much is the claw back? With this claw back, will this bring me down to below 40 K miles which means I would not get the 10 eupgrades for crossing 40 K miles? Or can I keep the 10 eupgrades even though my status miles drop to below 40K after the claw back?

I currently have 20 eupgrades. With getting to E I get another 10 eupgrades. So I have a total of 30. I need 34 eupgrades for Mr. Conglomerate and myself for our return trip in November. That is why the above question is important.
