All Star Alliance redemption are based on O, I and X inventories.

Additional redemption that the carrier may reserve for its own members are classified otherwise.......

Having said that, earlier this year AP went with a 'newer' system and it was reported back by several people (including myself) that the newer system doesnt show all the flights and inventories up.

Not StarNet blocking but stupid system.....

The excuse I got (where AP/NH shows redemption flts available but agent says no) is AP.com is not a live system, there might be a lag, or a hold....or data might be one day old etc.... which in my view is excuses.....

Some managed to persuade the AP agent or supervisor to look into the old system and voila...... the flights are available for redemption
