For me the added poshness of FC isn't worth it for a relatively short hop from the Northeast USA to Paris. Business suits me just fine!

Flights times from PHL/NYC area are only 6.5 to 7.5 hours. Flights to Asia are another story altogether where the travel times make a huge difference.

That said, if you want to go First, I'd shoot for LX (SWISS) out of JFK or EWR to ZRH/GVA and connect back to CDG. Second choice would be LH and shoot for a 747-400 flight which will (by the summer of 2012) have a 50/50 chance of having LH's new FC product.
