Hi! If anyone will have a good suggestion, I know you guys will have this cracked in no time....

I'm surprising my companion with a trip. He knows that we are going and knows what the first leg is, but thinks our final destination is something other than it actually is.

Since he is GM, I obviously would like for both of us to be upgraded. So far, I have not put his Skymiles number in the record so he can't see it in his account.

If he knew he was being surprised, I could just ask him not to look and I think he wouldn't. However, I don't want to do that b/c if I tell him it's a surprise, based on the destination he THINKS it is, he will definitely guess where we're actually going.

Any suggestions??

It's a SEA-ATL Thurs redeye (no FC on connecting flight, so that doesn't matter)--so if i wait until he's under my supervision and won't be checking his account, I'd guess FC will be full.
