I have to admit, I'm surprised that the number is as high as it is. I know for myself I didn't have a passport until I was 32, but I'd done a lot of travelling in the US (and occasionally Canada). Until I started taking cruises I'd never really had a huge desire to travel to other countries. (I'll admit there were places I'd wanted to visit in Europe, but before that time it was something that I never felt was something I could afford to do. Plus the Galapagos and Iceland have also always been on my list of places I'd love to see someday). Since then I've also gotten the passport card because it's easy to keep with me in case I do go into Canada (which does happen, I'm in a border state).

Have to admit, 10 years ago, I never would have pictured I'd do something like swim in the Rio Negro. What a difference 10 years makes.
