Howdy all, and thanks in advance for your opinion!

I will be booking two first class tickets to Paris soon using FF miles (for next year - waiting for the dates to open up in about a month). Going to take my wife and travel around France for 2-3 of weeks.

I usually fly US Airways due to the fact that's where I accumulate most of my miiles. However, one option is to use some of my American Express miles (up to about 350,000 now) which opens up the airlines they allow reward travel on.

I was considering an Air France flight, but know nothing about their flights, planes, or level of luxury that first class offers on flights from the East Coast of the US to Paris. EWR, JFK and PHL are all viable leaving points, I could even consider IAD if worth the hassle.

Anyone have an opinion? Air France worth flying vs others? Any routes that I mentioned utilze aircraft where first class is "not to be missed"?
