You get lounge access at all outstations which I think is significant. EK doesn't give lounge access to anyone below Gold, and even then no guest unless in J/F.

Etihad could easily offer priority check in and boarding at no extra cost to them, so I wonder why they don't. No airline offers much for flying 20k per year. And Etihad gives full mileage and tier credit on all fares!
