I agree, the change had to be pretty much set in stone before they even released the teaser of a cut in redemption rates LHR-NYC and the major changes to AirMiles, which still begs the question "why not put the whole plan out there at one time?" And sorry, I don't buy the argument that FT members are shaking it down for them - no business of this scale runs that way. Sorry, I think there's an ulterior motive; I just can't work out what it is yet.
