Thx for always sharing your reports. I thought I'd comment on this one because it seems like this too was your first International First experience on UA. Continental is my airline by default, so I've only rode BusinessFirst as it's all that's been offered. When UA & CO finally allowed reward bookings on both airlines, I was eager to try UA's Intl First product. So thus far I've taken two trips between NRT & HNL and I've been impressed with NRT"s International First Class Lounge, how well UA treats Intl First and Global Services Customer's (in NRT & HNL at least), and just like you the arrangement of the seats (every customer has access to the aisle). I've sat in 2-A (on the 777) and definitely think it affords more privacy that 2-K. What didn't impress me was the presentation of the meal service (Chinaware, utensils, etc) - I can't pin down if it's the short duration of the flight or what, but I feel the presentation is lacking and that BusinessFirst is much more polished in this area, including quality and offerings of food. I also wish Intl First had more bread choices (CO's garlic bread and pretzel rolls). I am glad UA will keep it's Intl First product, and I hope they can improve to make it a great product. I really enjoyed the exclusivity of the experience...
