Problems with booking on CX web site when timezones do not match the same day.

I got an error message when trying to book on CX last night. It kept on telling me that there was not ticketing time limit and to use either 7 or 8. I called the help desk and they said this always happens when the time zone you are in is in a different day than the mainframe. I was on the West coast and the time was 10:30pm. I was told I would have to either book my ticket on Expedia, or wait until after midnight my time.

I thought this was an odd glitch and wonder if anyone else has encountered it?
