Wow, thanks for the clarification. I don't realize that the new Airbus A340-600s cannot fly YYZ-HKG nonstop at all seasons. There have been rumors that CX will use the A346 on the HKG-YYZ-HKG routes as well. However, CX should have no problems flying the HKG-YYZ eastbound flight nonstops year-round. Maybe it can even do the westbound nonstop during the summer months.
