"One-time recalibration and combination of lifetime balances."
To bring everyone to the same starting point, on December 31, 2011, we will recalculate MileagePlus lifetime miles balances to include both base EQM and bonus EQM. This means the lifetime miles balance will either increase or remain the same.
As a Premier Executive that seems to fly more CO than UA, what about all miles gained on CO metal over the years that have counted towards award miles and bonus miles but not lifetime miles? will this "recalculation" also include all those also?

I feel cheated and don't like the tactic of making 1K and Lifetime Elites happy beyond their expectations and serving the bill to the Gold Elites who have to pay for it!
This change should if at all happen for 2013!!!!!!!!
ever since united decided not to do the double eqm promotion last year i knew they would start trying to weed out elites.
What about the dreaded $150 fee to change a flight time the day before or same day in comparison with the FREE allowance to change flight times on Continental?
Is that something that will stay FREE as continental, or $150 as united?
thanks
