On 3 December, CX883 is currently a 74B with old J. However, CX881 LAX-HKG at 11:30pm is currently a 74Y with NBC.
Note that CX can substitute aircraft. CX Reservations can confirm aircraft configuration for you.
On 8 December, CX880 is currently a 74B with old J and CX882 is a 74J with old J.
Sorry, I don't divulge my preferred seats on CX F or J - even if they tend to be held specially for me.

The Pier at HKG - you won't be disappointed with either. I believe that The Pier now opens at 07:00. Note that The Pier has more PCs than The Wing. Showers at The Pier are also nicer that those at The Wing.
