Both, from what I've seen. Miles from some sources post at any time of the day or night, but in the past, it's seemed that miles from other sources only around midday (Arizona time). It looks to me as if miles from some sources require the operation of a batch process.
FWIW, last year bonus miles in the GS posted mid-afternoon on the scheduled days, for the most part (late afternoon here in the ET zone), occasionally later.
