Just had a bit of a panic... booked a European flight with a third-party site (because klm.com wanted silly money)... got my e-ticket... and found the letter R which I had never seen before. Searched the oh-so-user-friendly (NOT!) Flying Blue section of klm.com, but couldn't find an answer as to whether or not R is a qualifying fare class.

I'm not worried about award miles, but need another four flights to get to the magic 30, and this trip would be it.

So - you guys are saying R is a normal fare class and that my flights will count?
