I checked out a few of Amtrak's Weekly Specials on amtrak.com, with discounted fares.

Are these always only coach, or are they ever for sleeping car space?

Or can you get a coach Weekly Special and later upgrade to sleeping car space (on board or otherwise)?

I'd gladly jump on the Crescent at the last minute for a weekend trip, as long as sleeping car space is available.
