I'm QF Platinum (OW Emerald) and have been for the past 6 years. Have re-deemed over 25 RT F & J flights through QF FFP - all very good however only three of these have been on QF metal. All the others have been on BA or CX.
The sector you are looking at is one of the most profitable they have therefore, also one of the hardest to secure award seats.
If you are trying to secure only one seat then you may be ok - but probably only at the last minute.
