At least CX888 and CX889 should get NBC fairly soon. I recall that HOO, HOR, HUD and HUG are 74Js with 62 J seats on the Main Deck and 30 J seats in the Upper Deck. Would it be safe to say that the 74Js with New Business Class will not get the 74Y designation? I'm guessing the new configuration will have 8 less J seats.
The first "Premium" (more J seats) 744 with the new seats should enter service around November this year. It has 26 J seats on the Upper deck (rows 80-88) and 39 on the Main Deck (rows 11-17). Note that from Doors 1 to 2 it is a dedicated J cabin, and from doors 2 to 3, there will be 3 rows of J and 3 rows of Y (rows 36-37), of course with a divider between them. So in fact there are only 65 J seats compared to 92 Js in their current form.
