Yep, it's better than domestic first. Seats with greater recline, upgraded food and service. Been that way for about 20 years now.

Seats are nowhere near lie-flat; they're the same business seats that AA replaced with its NGBC (the slanted, lie-flat at an angle wedgie seats). But perfectly adequate for a relatively short flight - transcons don't last very long. And much more comfortable than any coach seat.
